The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) is one of the largest private foundations in the world.
Launched in 2000, the primary aims of the foundation are, globally, to enhance healthcare and reduce extreme poverty, and in America, to expand educational opportunities and access to information technology.
DKT Ethiopia receives support from BMGF for a pilot testing three (3) implementation modalities for the Rural Social Marketing (RSM) or Likke Project. DKT Ethiopia is also working with the foundation to introduce Chlorhexidine to help reduce neonatal sepsis in Ethiopia.
