2. Head of Marketing

Job Description:

The following are job responsibility; but not limited to:

  • Develop strategies and solicit approvals for all Marketing, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative
  • Prepare and manage allocated quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
  • Set, monitor and report on team goals and achievements.
  • Design branding, positioning and pricing strategies in collaboration with sales and operations department.
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and advertising activities)
  • Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas.
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
  • Active participation in business planning, annual budgeting, quarterly and monthly meetings. Share feedback on competitor activity, results and challenges along with solutions during the monthly management meeting.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce etc.
  • Six to eight years of product / marketing management experience.
  • Product management experience in Pharma/ OTC or consumer segment.
  • Sales experience in the field would be added advantage.
  • An analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills.

3. Product Development Associate Manager

 Job Description:

  • pharmacist/ Doctor/ with University Degree/BSC in Pharmacy with valid professional license. Business background is preferable.
  • A minimum of 3 years and above related experience
  • An understanding, ability, and commitment to implementing Regulatory guidelines and policy.
  • NGO experience is preferable.
  • Understanding of basic Product design principles

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce or Finance (ACCA,CPA, CA will be preferred)
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the development sector and exposure to grant accounting.

Job Description:

The following are job responsibility; but not limited to:

  • Coordinate and lead planning sessions for project development and execution
  • Manage staffing and other resource needs to maximize potential for successful execution of projects
  • Define project objectives and scope, identifying involvement of internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct risk analysis to reduce unforeseen obstacles and costs
  • Create detailed schedule, project parameters, and budget expectations
  • Conduct periodic scope, schedule, and cost reviews using industry best practices, to identify needed adjustments
  • Measure project performance and progress throughout campaign execution
  • Manage client and other stakeholder expectations to maintain productive and engaged relationships

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the development sector with exposure to grant management and M&E. A social entrepreneurial mindset that drives the program is necessary. Demonstrated program innovations exposure is highly desirable.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • An analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills.

STAR TRAC

7. Management Development / Trainee Program:

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

DKT Ethiopia is a social marketing organization and an affiliate of DKT International established in 1990 to promote family planning and HIV/AIDS prevention. The three main program areas are prevention of HIV/AIDS, ensuring sustainable access to family planning products and services, and improving the survival status of mothers and children.

DKT Ethiopia invites potential applicants for the following program:

The DKT “STAR TRAC” management development program helps equip future managers with the skills and knowledge necessary to be effective in management positions. The “STAR TRAC” program is a one-year cross functional training program where trainees are assigned task and projects to develop and hone their management skills.

To become a management trainee, you typically must have earned at least a a Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Economics, Medicine, Social Sciences, Engineering or a related field. Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Aside from education and experience, management trainees usually possess some of these essential qualities:
