DKT Ethiopia’s Country Director, Michael Evans, passed away on June 10, 2021, due to cardiac arrest. Michael, 61, served DKT and its noble cause with passion, humility and kindness. He was loved and respected by the DKT Ethiopia staff and helped guide the organization in a number of new strategic directions.
Prior to joining DKT Ethiopia in 2019, Michael led DKT International’s program in Vietnam for six years as its Country Director.
Michael had more than 27 years of experience in business development and leadership roles throughout the world.
Mr. Michael Steven Evans was born July 1st, 1960, in California in the United States. He leaves behind a son and many loved ones.
DKT Ethiopia expresses its sincerest condolences to Michael’s family and friends.
